We are pleased to announce that Daniel Gurrola is joining our headquarters as Match-Maker Ventures’ newest Venture Partner!
Daniel, a senior representative in our Match-Maker Network, is expanding his role within our headquarters to contribute his expertise and efforts towards the further development of Match-Maker Ventures’ offerings and engagements in the telecom sector.
With over 20 years of experience holding executive-level positions in various telecommunications companies across the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and US, Daniel is a visionary leader bringing a wealth of knowledge in Strategy and Business Development, assisting management teams in achieving alignment and developing strategies that deliver tangible results.
During his tenure as the chairman of the Chief strategy Officers Group and Global Head Strategic Engagement at the GSMA, Danie demonstrated his leadership skills by developing an industry response to topics of strategic importance for mobile operators globally.
As the VP Strategy and Business Development of Orange Group, he covered the entire strategy spectrum having served in roles of corporate, commercial, business unit strategy, and implementation.
Furthermore, as the VP Strategy at Verizon Wireless and Strategic Advisor at Verizon Consumer Group, Daniel provided visionary leadership and executive-level guidance on strategic matters impacting the business.
More recently, Daniel started sharing his experience within the telecommunications industry by advising Tech and Telecommunications leaders on M&A, strategy, Acquisition integration and business transformation as well as serving as an External Advisor at Bain & Company supporting clients developing more robust strategies to thrive in the future strategy execution.
By joining Match-Maker Ventures, Daniel will share his extensive knowledge and experience in the telecommunication sector and contribute to the growth of our portfolio scaleups.
