A great and masked-up MWC21 has come to an end.
Of course, our Founder and CEO Dr. Nicolai Schättgen could not miss out on the action, taking the chance to fly to his first post-COVID event.

“Overall MWC21 was an amazing experience. It was great to be back at an event and see the encouraging effort being put forth by GSMA to create a safe and fruitful environment. Of course, the impact of the pandemic was felt heavily, with certainly far fewer attendees than in the previous years. Usually presenting eight full halls bustling full of life, this year there were three halls including the 4YFN event with a much calmer and more relaxed environment.
On the positive side, people had much more time – many 1h+ meeting were held, which would have been impossible pre-COVID – and the atmosphere was much more intimate. Still, I met many great startups, scaleups, and corporates excited to innovate and collaborate.
In addition, Barcelona is always worth a trip – I felt it was simply the right time to be there.”
We are looking forward to working and driving innovation with everyone we met in Barcelona and are already very excited for MWC22!
