Who are we looking for?

We are continuously expanding our team and are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced “Head of sourcing”. Ideally you should have minimum 3-5 years of experience in relevant functions, worked in an innovation and/ or startup related environment and have a master degree in economics, innovation and/ or management or a technical background with a firm business understanding. Further it would be beneficial if you had an understanding and insights of our core industries (telco, fintech, insurances, utilities and/or VC).

The following criteria are a pre-requisite:

  • High proficiency in English; German and other languages are a plus
  • Structured way of working and strong logical competences
  • Creative thinking and ability to deliver complex tasks individually
  • Good understanding of business models and an affinity to technology
  • Strong willingness to learn and ability to quickly understand and accept new challenges
  • International mindset based on international experiences and an outgoing networker
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent understanding of MS Office tools
  • Database software and communication tools beneficial

What we provide?

You will work with various tech companies, corporates, VCs, CVCs as well as other stakeholders from the ecosystem. You will collaborate closely especially with our portfolio management team and our Match-Maker network team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Bringing our sourcing and scouting activities to the next level
    • Maximize the impact of our global Match-Maker network
    • Develop and manage proposition for corporate partnerships (increase inflow of relevant tech companies) as well as for (C)VC partnerships
    • Introduce data-based sourcing to scale and drive efficiency
  • Enable and manage a healthy pipeline
    • Align with portfolio management to close gaps or define growing new segment
    • Channel our activities and scale the network
    • Develop new inflow partnerships
    • Investigate and introduce IT tools
  • Sourcing management
    • Define, implement and improve sourcing processes
    • Operations management – startup landing point
    • Interaction / support Portfolio management and Network management
